Once you have appointed Carpet Brite to clean your curtains an appointment time is made. On the day of cleaning we ask you (if required) to remove small items from the rooms to be cleaned - such as ornaments, plants, photographs etc) On arrival Carpet Brite will move any furniture (if possible) that may obstruct a thorough clean.
The Carpet Brite curtain cleaning process starts with a dusting to the ceiling above the curtain to stop any dust falling during the cleaning process. We then wipe the curtain rail clean. We dry vacuum the entire curtain which is followed by a cleaning test in an unseen area which is a stipulation of our insurers. A degreasing agent is sprayed onto the surface of the fabric and any individual marks and heavy soiled areas are pre-treated. The secret ingredient is then applied and your curtains are towelled to produce stunning effects. Tie backs and pelmets etc are hand cleaned and the curtain is re-dressed.
